Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that cannot be attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity.
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is as follows:
- In the case of a purchase contract, fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.
- In the case of a contract for multiple goods ordered by the consumer as part of a single order and delivered separately, fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.
- In the case of a contract for the delivery of a good in multiple partial shipments or pieces, fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last partial shipment or piece.
- In the case of a contract for the regular delivery of goods over a set period, fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the first goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) including the following information:
- Name
- Address
- and, if available, telephone number and email address
You may use the attached sample withdrawal form available at [LINK TO FILE], but it is not mandatory. Alternatively, you can provide any other clear statement of withdrawal.
If you use this option, we will promptly (e.g., by email) send you confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you incur any fees as a result of the refund.
In the case of purchase contracts where we did not offer to collect the goods ourselves in the event of withdrawal, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of shipment, whichever is earlier.
If you have received goods in connection with the contract, you must return them without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal to the following address:

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only responsible for any diminished value of the goods if this loss of value results from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to check their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
If the customer is a business, the right of withdrawal is entirely excluded.
Notes for Smooth Return Processing
Please, if possible, return the item(s) in the original packaging and properly postage-paid. Using the original packaging is not required to exercise your rights but simplifies and secures processing. If you only return one item from your order but have other items you intend to pay for by invoice, simply deduct the returned item from the invoice amount. If you pay by direct debit, the price for the returned item will automatically not be charged. For all other payment methods, the credited amount will be refunded to the payment method used for the order.
The direct costs of return shipping are borne by the customer.
DFKD reserves the right to return insufficiently or improperly postage-paid returns to the sender or charge any “penalty postage” to the customer. If the customer, by partially withdrawing from the contract, reduces the order value below the EUR 50 threshold for free shipping, they must reimburse the shipping costs to DFKD. Therefore, only the order value after exercising the right of withdrawal is considered for calculating eligibility for free shipping.
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:
- Goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market beyond the control of the entrepreneur and which may occur within the withdrawal period
- Goods made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs
- Goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would quickly pass
- Goods that are delivered sealed and are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery
- Goods that, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items due to their nature
- Alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed at the time of contract conclusion but cannot be delivered before 30 days and whose current value depends on market fluctuations beyond the control of the entrepreneur
